Today is her birhday and I shared with my class about a friend who was like no other and our shared life and how she lived more in her dying than anyone I know does in their lifetime. I miss her more than life itself and know that I am a blessed women to have walked with her. A very timely poem! Thank-you, RebeccaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2553600820404867909.post-58477384170142492152010-07-04T20:05:14.771-04:002010-07-04T20:05:14.771-04:00Thank you for this John. It is good to see people with ethics and principles step out into the world and offer a better approach to leading our lives than the simple dog eat dog approach we have seen in our societies for so long. Then he redefined the neighbor as the next person whom one sees -- and illustrated it with the famous parable of the "Good Samaritan" which I think would be better named "The Man in the Ditch," for only the man in the ditch could answer the question about who had acted as his neighbor -- and it was a hated Samaritan!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08839424201343103311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2553600820404867909.post-37336377771499972792010-04-06T09:27:41.229-04:002010-04-06T09:27:41.229-04:00Thank you for sending us this article.
